EnterpriseMouchel and BBMM (Balfour Beatty Mott MacDonald) wanted a high performance, rapidly applied relining product for the Area 1 & Area 2 Network. It needed to have a low carbon footprint, be able to exceed the minimum specification for road markings and increase safety for operatives and public alike. The system could not cost anymore (per linear metre) than thermoplastic and should produce minimal levels of material build up.

QMS HyperLine™ is a cold applied spray system, which uses a special process that ensures that when the bead is applied to the paint, it locks into place at the correct and optimal height, making almost every reflective bead perform to its absolute maximum. No pre-heating of either the equipment or material is required, reducing start up and material transfer times. With over 10,000 metres of line per tank, the application time in a shift is maximised, reducing traffic management time & disruption to the motorist.
