Quality Marking Services Limited is an award winning, Road Marking and Specialist Surfacing company based in Newton Abbot, Devon.

QMS was formed in June 2001 by Managing Director Ralph Clark. Ralph had at this time been involved within the Highway Marking industry in excess of 40 years, working in the UK, Europe and the Middle East for some of the major Highway Marking Companies.

QMS was a vision of Ralph and his son Greg. The vision was to introduce and develop new and existing materials and installation methods to provide a high level of quality and service to potential customers within the line marking and surface treatment sector.

Greg started in the industry in 1990 as a general labourer. Working his way through to the position of Contracts Supervisor in 1996 where he remained for a further 5 years before joining QMS in November 2001 as Operations Manager.

"We immediately set to work on the quality systems of the company and in February 2002, were accredited to the quality standard of BS EN ISO 9001:2000 with SGS Yarsley."

"During 2003 we became involved with Surface Treatment works and obtained BBA accreditation for the installation of Epoxy High Friction Surface Treatments. This has since developed into the use of fast cure Methacrylate resin systems and the introduction of decorative surface treatments, increasing the portfolio of the company."

"Following extensive product development, we introduced QMS HyperLine™ to the UK market for the overmarking of existing road markings. QMS HyperLine™ has proven to be a viable alternative to conventional thermoplastic products for improving safety on the nation's highways."
