QMS Completes Another Succesful High Friction Contract For Devon County Council
QMS recently and successfully completed the annual High Friction Surfacing contract for Devon County Council. The contract consisted of 6500m2 of BBA HAPAS Type 1 MMA Resin with a 1mm to 3mm Buff Chinese Bauxite and reinstating any line markings affected.
Most of the works had to be carried out during restricted hours at night, to reduce disruption to the travelling public. The advanced properties of using a Methyl Methacrylate resin allow us to lay the resin during winter and from an astonishing minimum 0°C ambient temperature, most Epoxy based systems require at least 10°C.
