QMS HyperGrip™ to be installed on Drumbridges Roundabout
Quality Marking Services Ltd has received notification of success in a bid to install 1,400m² of QMS HyperGrip™, our new High Friction Surface Treatment to the A38 Drumbridges Roundabout improvement works in Devon.
Awarded by Balfour Beatty, QMS HyperGrip™ has been selected for its enhanced durability, reduced cure time and expedited installation process.
The award comes hot on the tail of multiple contract acquisitions for our new High Friction Surface Treatment which has been gaining momentum over recent months and is showing promising signs of establishing itself as the preferred MMA based anti-skid system within the industry.
Speaking of this latest commission, QMS Operations Director, Greg Clark, said. “We are pleased to be working with Balfour Beatty to deliver the improvement works to the A38 Drumbridges Roundabout, and are delighted that our BBA HAPAS Type 1 approved high friction surface treatment - HyperGrip™ - has been selected as the anti-skid system on the project.
The improvement works themselves have been sorely needed and once complete it will improve the flow of traffic and ease congestion into one of the busiest industrial estates in Devon.
The installation of QMS HyperGrip™ will ensure a long lasting and durable anti-skid surface which will deliver fantastic performance and provide safety benefits to all road users.
