QMS Shortlisted for 2015 HMEA Finals

QMS received notification this morning of our success in reaching the final stage of the Highways Magazine Excellence Awards (HMEA) 2015.

The QMS submission for the Road Marking Project of the Year category shines a spotlight on QMS LifeLine™, a risk managed road marking maintenance solution which utilises QMS HyperLine™ - a high performance highway rejuvenation system and winner of an HMEA award in 2009 - to deliver a solution that ensures that road markings on a treated network are always within specification and that the highest level of road safety performance is assured whilst continuously delivering sustainable value to the contracting body.

This year’s submission detailed the performance of QMS LifeLine™ on the A50 DBFO Network Area 28 project over an extended period. Working closely with our client Balfour Beatty, we were able to demonstrate impressive retro-reflectivity performance year on year since the installation of the QMS HyperLine™ system and the subsequent implementation of the QMS LifeLine™ risk managed maintenance solution.

Speaking of the accolade, QMS Operations Director, Greg Clark, said. “Our notification of success in reaching the final stage of the 2015 Highways Magazine Excellence Awards is a truly exciting development. Our submission was the result of many years of hard work and commitment and I am delighted that my team will have an opportunity to enjoy an evening celebrating that recognition with our fellow finalists at the awards ceremony in October.

From inception, QMS has always strived to be at the forefront of innovation within the industry and I’m extremely proud to have a dedicated workforce that enables us to continually challenge the status quo and to deliver improved, durable, cost effective and environmentally sensitive solutions to the market.

QMS are honoured to be able to celebrate such an auspicious occasion with our contemporaries and I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all of our colleagues within the industry who have been shortlisted for the awards and wish them all the very best of luck on the night.”

The winners of the 2015 Highways Magazine Excellence Awards will be announced at an awards ceremony at the Lancaster Hotel in London in October.
