21 May 2020 – Covid 19 Update from our Managing Director, Greg Clark

Throughout April, I spent my time at home thoroughly reviewing and updating the Risk and Method Statements of the business to ensure that when we were ready and able to return to work, we would be fully compliant with the guidelines provided by central government.

Wednesday 29th April saw the start of a phased return of our workforce with 50% of the management and operational teams returning to a new normal within the workplace. On their return, a presentation of the updated RaMS was delivered including a cleaning and sanitising routine which has already been firmly embedded into the daily activities of the Company.

Throughout May, a steady and controlled return of the workforce has continued, and we anticipate returning all staff by Monday 1st June to an increasing order book and planned work activities.

Throughout this time of significant change, I personally thank every member of staff for their invaluable support and understanding together with their fantastic approach to the changes that have been implemented.

To our clients, all I can say is THANK YOU. Your continued assistance and patience have been fantastic and I am delighted that our committed teams are now returning to your projects to deliver works from our portfolio of award winning products.

On a final note, it goes without saying that our hearts and thoughts go out to the families and friends of the 36,042 people who have sadly lost their lives to Covid 19 in the UK since the start of the pandemic. We shall continue to operate with due diligence for the safety of our clients, our staff and their families as we move forwards to delivering our works to our fantastic clients.

Many thanks

Greg Clark MCIHT
Managing Director
